IT DISPOSAL AND REMARKETING ONLINE STORE

Remarketing

Remarketing is the reselling of redundant assets to someone who will still use them whether for spares, as replacement machines, or as new installs.

Customers very often look for older product when they want to add a number of items to expand but the time has not yet elapsed for a total upgrade of their equipment, so they are maybe covering a short time span, or can no longer get the equipment they already have new.

This offers a cost affective solution for them, and also sees a revenue return for the client who has the redundant equipment.

The way in which Remarketing works, is that the client with the redundant equipment notifies us of the lists of assets that they are looking to dispose of.

We will then advise what sort of return a customer is likely to see on their assets.

We will then remove the equipment to our warehouse located in London, and list the product back to the client.

A profit share basis is agreed with the client based on the work required if any by the client.

As they equipment is sold, so the client receives the agreed share of the revenues.

The alternatives to this are that we can manage the remarketing from the customer site, if they prefer not to release the equipment until sold, or we can make an offer to purchase the equipment as is stands directly.

Datawiping may be undertaken should the client so wish, though many clients now handle their own datawiping prior to release of the equipment . Should Datawiping be required the relevant contract is put in place first to ensure peace of mind to both the client and IT Disposal.

Should you wish to discuss the opportunities and detail for Remarketing, please feel free to call us or e-mail us, all the details of which may be found on the contact page.
